Data Recovery - How To Use

Step 1. Select a recover mode
Base on your selection:
Case 1: Logical Scan - "Find and recover deleted files" is clicked
Case 2: RAW Scan - "Recover data from raw device" is clicked

There are two modes in Data Recovery: Logical Scan & RAW Scan.
(a) "Logical Scan"
will try to scan the file system on the partition to find out the deleted files. So, If the partition is damaged, "Logical Scan" can not be applied to this partition. In order to use "Logical Scan", you should click "Find and recover deleted files".
If you select this mode, please click to view a case.
If your partition or the partition table of your hard drive is damaged, you should use "Recover data from raw device". Below the button, there is a source type you should choose.
If you partition is damaged and the partition table is healthy, you should select "Partition" as the source type. If your whole device was damaged(partition table was broken) , you should select "Whole Drive" as the source type.

Step 2: Select Logical Partition Step 3: Select a place to store the recovered files Step 4. Wait For the Scanning Result The scanning process may take some time. Scan result: All the scan result will be orgnized as a trre view. Step 5. Select the files you want to recover Click those files you want to recover. |
